Key Features of Armored B6:

• Transparent Armor: All glass replaced with 42mm Curved and Contoured Ballistic Resistant Glass to withstand rounds up to and including .308, M-16, .223 rifle rounds.
• Body Armor: Body of vehicle armored with Armormax® synthetic laminate ballistic materials and/or 1/4” ballistic steel.
• Elitus Overlap Protection: Elitus® Overlap System added to each window and throughout vehicle to ensure complete protection that would eliminate penetration through door seams.
• Roof, Floor and Fuel tank: Armored with Armormax® Composite material and floor with multi-ply rigid ballistic fragmentation materials to withstand 2 US M-67 grenade blasts.
• Complete Structure Modifications: Reinforced pillar posts and hinge mounts. Vehicle specific engineered heavy duty, high pressured shocks/springs designed to help maintain original appearance and maneuverability of vehicle due to added weight.
• Battery Replacement: Ballistic encased battery compartment, original battery is replaced with an Optima bullet-resistant Gel-cell Battery.
• Reinforced Dual Ram Bumpers: Concealed behind OEM bumpers, this modification prohibits corners of the vehicle from being rammed into the tires, thus making the armored vehicle inoperable.
• Run Flat Tire System: Run Flat Tire System allows the vehicle to travel up to 60 miles at 60 mph (depending on road conditions) on deflated tires.
