180 Armored Vehicle Contract for International Armoring Corporation



CENTERVILLE, UTAH, July 31, 2012 –

International Armoring Corporation (IAC) announced today, that it has received an order to armor 180 vehicles for use in the Philippines from a multi-national security company / investor. The vehicle contract, mostly light Toyota SUV chassis, will be built to level B6 protection (High Powered Rifle) valued at nearly U.S.$20 million. All materials required to armor these vehicles will be designed and manufactured in IAC’s Centerville, Utah facility and shipped to IAC’s Philippine plant for install in the vehicles. It is anticipated that the entire contract will be completed by August 2013.

Ana Basa, Manager of Sales and Marketing of IAC Philippine operation stated: “The majority of these vehicles required for this contract will be subsequently leased or re-sold to multi-national corporations and in country government officials to provide protection for the increased security concerns which exist throughout the Philippines”. IAC opened the 17,500 sq./ft. Philippine plant in March of 2011 in the Subic Bay free trade zone. The facility was initially opened to handle excess demand in the region as well as U.S. Government contracts previously built in IAC’s Spain manufacturing facility. The facility currently employs 30+ employees and anticipates to more than doubling that number with this contract. IAC has already located a second facility in the Philippines to handle increased demand of this contract and expected additional contracts.
